Ambassador Hückmann presents his letter of credence to H.E. President Pohamba

On 17 October 2012, Ambassador Hückmann presented his Letter of Credence to President Pohamba in an official ceremony at State House in Windhoek, together with the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China as well as Ambassadors/High Commissioners from Norway, Gabon, Ecuador, Belarus, Hungary, Denmark, New Zealand, Slovak Republic, Bangladesh, Columbia and Panama residing in Pretoria/Luanda.

With the presentation of the Letter of Credence, Ambassador Hückmann is accredited in his host country and officially takes over his post in the Republic of Namibia.

During a reception at his residence which was hosted after the presentation, Ambassador Hückmann emphasized the good and friendly relations between Germany and Namibia and underlined his desire for a future-oriented dialogue with the Namibian Government.
