Within those programmes, Dr. Ndafuda Shiponeni, lecturer of the University of Namiba (UNAM), will leave the capital next week for a full sponsored research  visit to  the University of Würzburg in Bavaria/Germany. She will engage in biological science research and will tie bonds with the academic staff over there. Furthermore, three outstanding students of the German Section of UNAM, Ms. Naem P. Haihambo, Ms. Winnie Sibeso and Mr. Sheldon Subeb will attend universities in Essen as well in Düsseldorf. While Ms Sibeso and Mr. Subeb will practise their German skills and take part in cultural excursions, Ms. Haihambo will attend lectures in German Studies and will do some research in order to find material for her Bachelor Honours thesis. Mr. Holger Buessow, a young professional at the Office of the Prime Minister and graduate from UNAM, recently returned with his family from his DAAD financed study at the University Cottbus, situated in the Federal State of Brandenburg, after two years where he completed his Master in a course called "Technology and Innovation Management". The German Embassy wishes all academics a safe journey, a fruitful stay and sees in these academic programmes the on-going scientific exchange between Namibia and Germany.
