18.06.2012 - German Embassy donates sports equipment to the Delta School Windhoek

On Monday, 18 June 2012, the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Namibia donated sports equipment for athletic training to the Detla School Windhoek (DSW), a school which has excelled in the field of athletics.
The equipment was handed over to Mr. Peter Schlenther, Headmaster of the DSW, by Hans-Christian Mahnke, cultural desk officer of the German Embassy in Namibia.
The donation by the Federal Foreign Office was made within the framework of its sports promotion programme which supports the development of sport in Namibia by, amongst others, seconding sport experts, donating sport equipment and offering training courses for coaches at various sport schools and universities in Germany.
